  1. Isn't this where Alexander the Great beat the Persians in his first Persian battle? And the visiting spot of heroes like Odysseus?

  3. Lovely photos. You can see untouched beaches for miles with no one in sight. Truly the perfect place to bring a loved one for a romantic stroll.

But where is this Ephesus place?

  5. She calls out to the man on the street
He can see she's been crying
She's got blisters on the soles of her feet
    Can't walk but she's trying

    Oh think twice... ♫

Lovely place, so relaxing, cool and serene. tQ.

  7. Hi Au and Target,
i don't know much about medieval history but after you mentioned this, I researched it and the first battle against the Persians was at the River Granicus, NW Turkey and you're right, it was one of Odysseus's voyages along the Turkish coast.

    Hi Adino,
thanks for appreciating my photos. Ephesus is an ancient city near the modern town of Selcuk in Turkey.
