This week's photohunt photos were taken at Salzburg.
Nothing beats the taste of fresh produce from a farmer's market.
a breath of fresh country air
and here's a bouquet of artificial hydrangeas that look very much like fresh flowers.

Our World- Singapore MRT
When traveling to new places, I like taking the metro to get around the city. It’s more convenient, definitely faster than the bus, and you reach your destination in a fraction of the time. For that, it wins my vote.
When I visited Singapore more than a decade ago, there were only a few stations in operation but since then, it has stations all around the city and has continuously expanded so that every part of this island is connected.
Here's a busy section of Singapore's Harbourfront metro system and it can get a bit crowded during rush hours but people-watching has always been fascinating to me.
Like most subways around the world, the Singapore metro is comfortable, reliable, easy and the carriage is remarkably clean. I took this during off peak hour, so it's less crowded.
In addition to this, the walls along the subways are creatively designed and eye-catching.
They can be delightful and inspirational for daily commuters as well as an attraction for tourists.

Our World - Athens: A bustling metropolis
These are some aerial views of Athens, as captured from Acropolis,
with low rise buildings densely packed within the downtown area.
It's definitely a bustling city and one that never seems to sleep completely. I can't imagine how noisy it must be with thousands of people living within the area and vehicles traveling at every hour of day and night.
but wow, what an amazing city and one of the best things about the Acropolis is not just about the ancient ruins. It also has one of the great views of the city and as can be seen here, Lycabettus Hill is the highest point in Athens.

PhotoHunt - Play & Creative
A colourful and creative play area spotted at Innsbruck in Austria. It looks inviting and pleasing to the eye and so much different from our boring playgrounds back home. A great place for children and families to have fun and play. :)

Our World - Universal Studios Singapore : Hollywood
Continuing on my previous post on Universal Studios Singapore, our first adventures begin in Hollywood Boulevard where it serves as the park's main entrance and is lined with vibrant architecture, palm trees, restaurants and stores selling Disney merchandise.
One of the main attractions here is the broadway-style musical show which is home to the Monster Rock, a live performance featuring the infamous Universal monsters. It was still early and not opened when we arrived but closed at 7:00pm when we tried to visit in late evening.
This is the Universal Studios store, filled with souvenirs from clothing and brand merchandise to awards and toys.
Everything looks enticing and I spent more than SGD100 in this store alone!
Along the boulevard, we also came across the Dark Room, a store that sells a wide variety of camera accessories of film, lenses, cameras and other electronic products.
For those with a serious sweet tooth, you can find all your favourite treats at Superstar candies.
And don't forget to get some popcorn from Pops too! Best popcorn I've ever tasted.
Aside from checking out all the stores, I got a little starstruck when I met a few of the star characters. To name a few, Winnie Woodpecker, Kung Fu Panda’s Po and Frankenstein created a commotion when they appeared on the streets to greet people of all ages.

Skywatch - Singapore skyline at night
One of the best things I love about Nikon D90 is it delivers great night photos even without using a tripod. Having an amazing DSLR equipped with Vibration Reduction (VR) lens make this kind of shooting possible. It allows handheld shooting at twilight, at night and even in poorly lit environment. Although nothing beats a tripod, I don't usually carry one when I travel as it's heavy to lug around all the time and it takes too much time to set up and take down.
Here are some of my best handheld shots of Singapore captured from the observation deck of the Sands Skypark. Enjoy.
