Red Galore

This time of year, most Chinese decorate their homes and businesses with red lanterns and other auspicious items in preparation for the Chinese New Year. With just a few days left before the festive season kicks in, I'm putting up some photos of red decorations to share this moment with you.

Chinese New year isn't that big here in Sweden. Back in the PHilippines, it is.

I was in the PHilippines in 2010, arrived a week before Chinese New Year. The decorations inside the malls were so great!

Happy Chinese New Year to you!

  30. My dentist, Dr. Quoch, and his wife, also a dentist, Dr. Chen
( the best dentists I've even visited ) are Chinese and, during my visit last week, I just loved their office, so beautifully decorated for Chinese New Year, with all kinds of red lanterns and other things. The bathroom was incredible. I almost didn't want to leave.
