Wow...that fabric is so beautiful too. What an amazing culture. I'm in admiration of how highly some cultures value art; how interwoven it is within their traditions.

George, Bananaz, The whole process of applying henna designs on both hands and feet takes about four hours.
Marites, The art of henna has been a long standing tradition here. They're usually applied to bride's hands and feet before wedding ceremonies. As far as i could tell, the power of henna is known to bring good luck and fortune, protection, and spiritual wealth.
This is an impressive artwork. I watched something like this being done on TV. The artists didn't need any tracing materials to do this, they apply the henna directly to hands and arms, and it was perfect.
I love the initrcate work of the henna on the hands. :)
