Music Monday

So another season of American Idol has begun with an extra judge. For the next few weeks, we get to see the never ending stream of auditions of many promising talents and some incredibly bad hair which can be truly humorous and entertaining. And, in honor of the return of American Idol 's new season last week, I thought that it would be great to share an American Idol performance from last season for this week's selection of MM. I love David Cook's acoustic and sense of style version of "Always be my baby" (Originally sung by Mariah Carey). Happy listening!

    Ooh I love David Cook's version of this song! :D who would've thought a guy can actually pull off this song, Mariah Carey said she was doubtful at first but when he sang it, it blew her away... :D Great choice dear! :D

    When he was on AI last season, my hubby and I actually bet on who will win and I bet on the other David, but I liked him too and I can see now why he won instead of the younger David... :d but they're both great... :D

    they were 2 of the world's most popular davids. i was so glad that cook was crowned the AI as i was rooting for him all the while. but then the other david was equally awesome. i love both davids.

    I agree David Cook did an awesome version of Mariah's song which is btw, also one of my favourite songs! He's a great singer, but will he survive in this highly competitive industry?
