Henna tattoo is one of the most popular attractions in the heart of Penang Hill.
Here's a henna tattoo being applied on a Arab woman.
Application of the henna paste using a ready made cone. I learned that they will fade in about 2-4 weeks, depending on the type of henna that has been used.
As evident from this picture, it takes a while for a newly painted Henna design to dry up.
All those beautiful swirling patterns amazed me and the best aspect of henna is that it is totally natural and safe. Someday I'd like to have my hands done like that for the fun of it.

ReplyDeleteI think Henna is the way to go...Lot of people in America sure are into tattoos and I've seen a few people who are dis-pointed for some reason and can't do a thing except have it remove with a Lazare. But with Henna if you don't care for it. It will fade away.

My friend tried it out when we were in Morocco. There were lots of women proposing Henna tattoos in the streets. I didn't do it !
