What a beautiful place and great take on the busy theme.
I am surprised to read the names of those places. All are new and alien to me! LOL.. My geography is rusty now. The place looks so developed and nice.
I remember Istanbul as such a busy and exciting city! great shots for the theme, happy weekend.busy
It looks busy but at the same time...it feels a bit like fairy tales. :p
I mean everything looks so busy an complex but at the backdrop of it...there is a majestic mosque.
That looks like a busy city.Have a fabulous weekend!Liz @ MLC
We have again photos from this wonderful city! I like Istanbul very much. It's old and traditional, modern and vibrant. A great city and a great inspiration for photographers.
Very nice photo shots. On any given weekday our San Diego harbor is usually calm unless it happens to be a holiday then it is bustling with all sorts of stuff especially when the big tall sailing ships sets sail
Ah now that is a place busy with tourists. Nice take on the theme!
Beautiful pics of the busy waterfront :)
It looks like an exciting place :)
A very different feeling about that famous structure with the city composition !
love the shots! Allt he right angel lovely <3
I visited Instanbul some years back and enjoyed my holiday there. Unfortunately, my camera broke the first night I was there. So I only have great memories -- but no photographs -- of my visit! ;(
Fantastic photos, I've never heard of fish sandwich boats what are there purpose? :-).
Windsmoke, fish sandwiches are being sold daily in the traditional boats tied to the quay (as seen on the left side of the 2nd photo). fishermen brought their catch from the Bosphorus and the freshly caught fish are grilled in their boats and served in a half-loaf of bread with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions to hungry locals and tourists. :)
Istanbul is an exciting and busy place to visit. I hope to see it for myself one day.
This is a beautiful place. Fish sandwiches seem interesting :)Happy weekend! My PH:http://homeschooling.teacherjulie.com/2011/07/02/busy-resort/http://pixiepixels.info/2011/07/02/busy-ant/
Such a busy waterfront! Beautiful photos as usual : )
I really like the way you captured the mosque against the sky in those first two pictures. You definitely captured the theme with these beautiful waterfront pictures.
Oh, am so fascinated with busy waterfronts -so much happenings, so many colors, rampant activities...bustling with life! AND you captured it beautifully! Your photos tell a story. Thank you for sharing, LR! :) PS: I have been calling you er..LR for the longest time, may I know you name? Thanks! :)
Thank you for that information grilling fresh fish sounds yummy :-).
The place is so lively!
Tes,thanks for your kind comments and for appreciating my photos. My name is Lena but you can call me LR, everyone calls me by that name in the blogosphere.Windsmoke,YOu're most welcome.:)
Oh, a cruise across the Bosphorus must be such fun! I shall have to visit there one day (maybe after I've been to Santorini).
It looks like such a lively place and so many big boats. There must be lots of tourists or commuters that use them regularly.
Can you believe I've never been on a ferry? At least I can't remember being on any so far! :)
What a great scenic cruise that must have been, love all ur pics! :)
looks great.. hope to get there one day..:)
TGIF and have a great day ahead dearie! :*
