Such a lovely bird but it looks sad being caged. No freedom, no friends, no family.
This poor lonely creature was trying to run away from me as I walked by. It refused to even look at me and made a face.
It seems to say that animals should not be confined in any form of captivity. The environment alone is too stressful on them. I bet she would love to escape.
These photos were taken while visiting an old farm house in Bangkok a few years ago.PhotoHunt
Sorry to see such magnificent animal caged.I too don't believe in putting animals in captivity.ReplyDelete
I love birds. What I do not understand is, why this bird lovers put them in cage. Why cant they just feel good about these butiful birds in the sky.ReplyDelete
Great minds do think alike and what a gorgeous bird! Happy weekend my friend :)ReplyDelete

What a truly awesome and beautiful bird. I agree so much that it's sad to see them caged up.ReplyDelete

What a glorious looking bird. But life is not so great in a cage is it? Happy weekend to you.ReplyDelete
That bird is stunning! What kind of bird is this?ReplyDelete
What a colorful bird.ReplyDelete
Have a fabulous weekend!
Wow...I agree. Zoos great for public education BUT I worry about the animals. Even if they are cared for very well, it's sad to see them cooped up. You just KNOW their every instinct is against it. The bird is AMAZING though and I'm glad to have seen it.ReplyDelete
I'm so excited that you are thinking about joining on on Project Inspiration on my blog! Photography would be a great addition- can't wait to see what you come up with;)
I'm happy for your comment.ReplyDelete
I wish you a nice weekend.
It looks so sad and not much room with walk around. Always looking outside its cage yearning to be free. It's such a beautiful, yet unusual looking bird/chicken?ReplyDelete
Nice bird but i agree the bird looks sad. Happy hunting...ReplyDelete
Mine is here
I've no idea what kind of species this is but I'm really amazed by the colourful feathers and textures as I look through my lens.
i have not visited bird parks in Malaysia for decades and although it's been available locally, I can't tell if i've ever heard of this species. :S
That is indeed a beautiful bird. And yeah, sad to see it caged -- especially in one that appears to be on the way too small side. :(ReplyDelete
Poor bird being cooped up in such a small cage. She needs an enclosure that's at least a 1,000 times bigger, with grass and native trees so she can build a nest and have little ones :-).ReplyDelete
The bird looks magical. I can stare at it for hours.ReplyDelete
Love its beautiful feathers! It must be quite costly.ReplyDelete
what a stunning bird! i've never seen one before. too bad, it's caged.ReplyDelete
What a gorgepous bird!!ReplyDelete
What a magnificent bird. Such a shame it is locked away :(ReplyDelete
What a shame to see such a gorgeous creature in a tiny cage. SIGHReplyDelete
a lovely bird, beautiful colors but like you said it looks sad being in a cage..ReplyDelete
I got caged monkeys
What a beautiful bird. It is a shame it has to be kept caged. I hope it is a pet and not for future food or decoration.ReplyDelete
What a beautiful, colored bird! Mine is on a caged bird too.ReplyDelete
sad to see a beautiful and colorful been lock up in a cage..ReplyDelete
I totally agree, a cage is not the place for any creature to be, and that espcially goes for birds. I bet the poor thing is stressed out...ReplyDelete
