The style of this building has a nice subtle horizontal stripe pattern to it. It's brightly painted with red stripes.
With the hot and humid weather here, I make it a point to wear my driving gloves when I'm roaming around the city working or running errands to protect my skin from the damaging effects of sun exposure. I know tanned skin is in vogue in the west but fair skinned is always a winning factor for Asian women. As fair and flawless as I'd like it to be, this pair of gloves with colored stripes definitely give me a boost to prevent my skin from looking even crappier and darker in the future.
Stripes have always been a popular style in fashion each year. I usually pair stripes with only plain or simple pieces to avoid looking too busy or keep within the same -color family.
What's the first thing you notice about a zebra? Yup, it' s the stripes. Zebra stripes absolutely mesmerize me for some reasons. They also inspire designers to use them in furniture, carpets and fashion.
You can never go wrong with STRIPES.
FC indeed! Wohoo!ReplyDelete
I avoid wearing anything with horizontal stripes because it'll make me look fatter! LOLReplyDelete
That is one colourful arm cover you got there! :D
Too late for me with the driving gloves...my skin has all the things you are trying to avoid...LOLReplyDelete
All your photos were perfect for this week!!
If you like zebra stripes you really should go check out Carolyn's Kitchen, one of my sponsors. She has some zebra stripes that are irresistible! My SIL has already been infected by the zebra stripe bug too!ReplyDelete

That's one pretty pair of driving gloves you've got there! Definitely beats the normal gray plain ones :PReplyDelete
Our diary/exercise book are with stripe lines. Stripe lines make our work more organize.ReplyDelete
I'm also in favour of having a fair complexion instead of tanned.ReplyDelete
But the colourful gloves look too attention grabbing. :P
Congrats to Lina for being FC! Have a happy weekend, girls!ReplyDelete
Lots of great photos for stripes. I had a hard time coming up with just one photo. Really like your driving gloves - I need some of those for sure, esp. with my past experience with melanoma.ReplyDelete

Wonderful collection of stripes....now those gloves are something else....crazy wild...ReplyDelete
A very nice collection of stripes... I too like the vertical stripes rather than horizontal.. although I really don't think they help elongate and thin enough! LOLReplyDelete
My stripes are here.
Great stripes for the theme.ReplyDelete
I love your gloves, those are so fun! And the Zebra such an interesting animal.ReplyDelete
I din do this PH post this weekend. I just found out I do not have any colorful stripes shirts.. just black and white.ReplyDelete

Hehhe...I like the driving gloves! But I don't use them ;)ReplyDelete
one cool fact about zebra stripes is that they are unique among every zebra, like finger prints.ReplyDelete
Late lol. I like your driving gloves :DReplyDelete
Don't have much striped tees coz I'm quite petite, rare that i find vertical or oblique stripes. I also wear gloves when I drive on mornings but because the steering wheel is so so so cold in the morning and It's hard to get a grip. it's a small wrist cut fingerless striped gloves. slightly similar to yoursReplyDelete
very true fashion can never be wrong when it comes to stripe. your driving gloves are stunning. :DReplyDelete
