Skywatch - Rome's Tiber River

This is one of the many bridges crossing the Tiber River in Rome. Glad the weather cooperated nicely giving us a rain-free, beautiful cloudscapes with gentle breezes. These are a few late afternoon views of the Tiber in spring looking towards the Vatican City and Rome.

  7. Oh my! It looks so peaceful! And yet in the history books people are always being chucked into the Tiber during revolutions, executions etc. Lovely pic & interesting. thanks.

  15. The residents are fortunate to have this view on a daily basis. There appears to be a walkway by the river. I wonder if people walk there. It looks like the river would overflow onto it at any time.

  20. Down by the river, sea, or the canal are my favourite places to go for a wander and some relaxation.

    The Tiber River looks like a scenic place for sure.
