On a trip to Cameron Highlands last year, I noticed a variety of beautiful potted miniature cacti and succulents at Cactus point. It has the best collection of miniature cactus as well as other exotic plant species here. I couldn't help but be captivated by their structures and beauty, there are so many to choose from. I bought a few pots of miniature cactus but to my disappointment, they didn't bloom well as they couldn't survive in such humid tropical environments.
I love cacti, but I can't keep them in our home :( Beautiful pics!ReplyDelete
I am going there next month !ReplyDelete
Thanks for sharing something from Cameron's.. beautifully photographed..

I have always been a big fan of the cactus! People say the desert is dull but many cacti produce gorgeous flowers and have interesting shapes.ReplyDelete

G' Gay From Australia, I'm not a big fan of cacti but the colours of yellow, red and crimson in the last photo are fantastic.ReplyDelete
I used to keep many of these bright coloured cacti. They are very long lasting and we can use them as decorative pieces, together with coloured stones.ReplyDelete

Your second picture shows what look like sempervivums -- what are sometimes called 'chicken and hens' over here. We have several varieties growing in our yard and really like them.ReplyDelete
