PhotoHunt - Stripes

This week's photohunt theme is stripes.

While in Dubai, I spotted plenty of striped buildings that caught my eye. I like the different styles of stripes that are created for each building.

Ruby Tuesday - The Musical Trio

DSC_0012

I encountered these unique sculptures, while wandering aimlessly through the streets of Vienna. These statues have been built in tribute to Antonio Vivaldi, the composer of the Four Seasons and other great variety of classical pieces.

I don't know too much about classical music, all I know is the serenity, elegance and beauty that the players and instruments can bring. From this picture, it seems like these musicians are very enthusiastic and dedicated.

I have no idea what they are called, no luck searching for it on the net. I call them 'The Musical Trio' for lack of a better description. I hope they will put a smile on your face and brighten your day.

PhotoHunt - Letters

A few shots of the South Korean Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo.

Exterior walls of the pavilion are decorated with the colourful shapes of Korean letters and art pixels. The han-geul letters(Korean alphabets) is the prime element of ‘signs’ within the structure.

It amazes me how creative and artistry people can be to create such a welcoming atmosphere.
