Skywatch over St Peter's Square, Vatican City

These were taken on a day trip to St Peter's Square in spring last year.

Visibility was excellent, the sky cloudless and it was sunny.

From a different perspective, the blue sky with floating clouds made a nice backdrop to the square.

  8. Very lovely, those first two pictures especially. A lot of my photos from Rome turned out similar- with that bright blue cloudless sky as a backdrop!

  9. I didn't realize how huge the Square is. There are so many details in the architecture. It must be quite a view where those people are looking out from.
