I was in Istanbul, but I missed that! I will just have to go back..lol
I love these kinds of posts where one can learn something new about a different part of the world. Thank you.
So shiny bright and empty looks brand new!
This looks like a very beautiful, clean subway system.
wow, nice mrt stations and trains. wow~ better than those white greyish ones :p.
Great shots! I really like the paintings on the subway cars. My dad was in Istanbul many, many years ago, but I'm sure it looked quite different back then.
Bonza photos, i especially like the 2nd photo of the mural painted on the train and the sailing ships mural in the last photo, keep 'em coming :-).
Wonderful shots.I played too. Mine are here and here.
beautiful metro! thanks for sharing with Tina´s WW :)
is this for real? wow!
Wonderful shots - the first one makes me a little dizzy! A great introduction to the place. Thanks.Donna
Oh long and high escalator Bananaz would have certain uneasiness without holding on the handrail.
Its quite clean and well maintained, why empty? Odd hours?
They are very artistic than our country. We should learn from this metro.
What a pretty and clean metro, nice way to get around. So different from New York :)
Hi Bananaz, you're right. We try to avoid them at rush hours if possible. During the morning and evening rush hours, the traffic volume on certain trains can be so intense that passengers are pressed against each other to a degree where they are unable to move. :S
Ooooh. That looks fancy and I just love the artworks and carriages!!! I simply must make a plan to visit there one day. (Istanbul is high on my list anyway).
When things are well cared for are very beautiful.
A colorful way to greet passengers. Nice.
Oh, I love that subway car with the artist!
Very cool -- and very clean!
a great way to treat travelers & hopefully stave off the errant graffiti rat. beautiful.
How clean and attractive!
Wow! Nice train and subway!! : )
Very clean train station. :)
