Great shots! I really like the paintings on the subway cars. My dad was in Istanbul many, many years ago, but I'm sure it looked quite different back then.
you're right. We try to avoid them at rush hours if possible. During the morning and evening rush hours, the traffic volume on certain trains can be so intense that passengers are pressed against each other to a degree where they are unable to move. :S
Ooooh. That looks fancy and I just love the artworks and carriages!!! I simply must make a plan to visit there one day. (Istanbul is high on my list anyway).
I was in Istanbul, but I missed that! I will just have to go back..lol

Oh long and high escalator Bananaz would have certain uneasiness without holding on the handrail.
