Skywatch - Straits Quay Lighthouse

This lighthouse in Straits Quay is strategically located at the northern coast of Penang facing the vast expanse of the Indian Ocean.

A great place to skywatch when it's not raining.

Those luxury yachts and elegant sailboats that are docked at the marina belong to world travelers who drop in here for a few days. Have you ever been sail boating? I haven't and would love to go!

    Have not tried sail boating in those pictured but have done massive koyak-ing for few hours at sea during my Outward Bound School experience and boating with the whole gang in Lumut.

    You live in a wonderful country. It looks so beautiful there and I love the smart, whitewashed buildings. I've never been on a fancy sail boat but I'd wonder about getting seasick. I've been on a couple of ferries!
