On our second day in Moscow, we had our first bus experience. We had intended to visit Ostankino Tower on our first itinerary but bus signs were confusing. We caught the wrong bus and ended up in a wrong place but got nice views of the non-tourist area of the city.

Yes, those are nice views, especially the second one. Sometime, what you didn't plan is better then what you planned.
ReplyDeleteWrong bus isn't good but you can see the beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteThe non-tourist area of the city has a homey feel and is peaceful.:)
So sometimes it is good to be lost aye? :p
ReplyDeleteAs wiseman says - getting lost is part of the spin. Love your photos esp those leafless trees. Happy weekend, LR. :)
ReplyDeleteAn unwanted trip, but it sounds and looks better than you had been first one.
ReplyDeleteSome times a mistake can turn out to be a good thing! These are great pics and work well with the theme :)
ReplyDeleteThe wrong bus took you to a lovely place!! wonderful.
ReplyDeletewrong
I wouldn't mind getting in the wrong bus if I'll end up with these pretty views. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend.

Very nice indeed. It may have been the wrong bus but you saw a bit of Moscow most tourists don't!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. Sometimes catching the wrong bus can take you to an interesting place.
ReplyDeletesometimes fate decides your destination :)
ReplyDeletethis is a cool take on the theme.
Wrong way - nice pictures!

You did get to see some nice parts of the city, even if it wasn't where you wanted to go. You got some beautiful clouds in that second picture.
ReplyDeleteBonza photos. You never know what you'll come across when you go off the beaten track :-).
ReplyDeleteChinese saying 'wrong got wrong right' hmmm..is the literary translation right or wrong? But English is 'Two wrongs dont make a right' hahaha.
ReplyDeleteLovely views OK mah..nice lamp post with the 3 round ball but the one on the left got 4 round balls?
ReplyDeleteSometimes seeing the off-the-beaten-path sites are the best!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a serendipitous bus journey!
ReplyDeleteNice to be able to see non touristic views of Russia. :)
ReplyDeleteGetting on the wrong bus can be interesting sometimes!
ReplyDeleteAt least taking the wrong bus had a happy ending and I'm sure you eventually found the correct bus to take you to Ostankino Tower.
ReplyDeleteI would get nervous getting lost in a foreign city, but the view is still beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSometimes getting onto the wrong bus and ending up at the wrong place can be a blessing in disguise : )
ReplyDeleteWow Moscow now! Why are you there? This is one country i am sure not to see in this lifetime, LOL. I am excited to see more of your photos from there! It looks really still cold there.
ReplyDeleteAndrea,
ReplyDeleteI visited Moscow as a tourist and i must say that it is not the easiest place to travel independently and if you don't take a few simple precautions it can be a miserable experience. it was late winter when i went there last year. i still have tons of photos in my folders, so stay tuned for more shots.
Ahhhhhh so scenic and oversea pics always look so fresh and extra bright and colourful, for some reason! :)
ReplyDeleteI told B I wanna play snow!!! Ha ha but of course no major vacations for us this year... no money already ha ha! :)
