Ruby Tuesday - The Musical Trio
I encountered these unique sculptures, while wandering aimlessly through the streets of Vienna. These statues have been built in tribute to Antonio Vivaldi, the composer of the Four Seasons and other great variety of classical pieces.
I don't know too much about classical music, all I know is the serenity, elegance and beauty that the players and instruments can bring. From this picture, it seems like these musicians are very enthusiastic and dedicated.
I have no idea what they are called, no luck searching for it on the net. I call them 'The Musical Trio' for lack of a better description. I hope they will put a smile on your face and brighten your day.

No luck on finding their info? It is not written on the statues? or some where near them?
ReplyDeleteBut musical trios sound good too! :D
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh.. can hear them playing the 'Sound of Music' and it goes like this ~ "The statues are alive with the sound of music.." haha..tQ
ReplyDeleteI haven't mastered listening to classical music yet but would like to. Great photo of great statues. Ruby Tuesday by The Rolling Stones has got to be one of there greatest.

Great find. I love Classical music. and having a daughter who plays Cello has made me enjoy it more. Now where is this from? Look like I should know this place. I'm thinking Philly.

Wonderful photo, the musical trio is a cool sight to seee.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. They put a smile on my face. :-)
ReplyDeleteIf they are playing to a waltz tune with these string instruments, I'll dance along ;-)
ReplyDeleteVivaldi is one of my favorite composers! I can hear his music as I look upon the busy statues. Note how the two at the ends look up at the one in the middle.
ReplyDeleteClassic sculpture, classical music - a wonderful find!
ReplyDeleteThey are wonderfully animated. Aimless wandering is good.
ReplyDeleteAnother real jazz music city is New Orleans! The Negro folks would be playing, blaring and singing on every street all day long. That's not music to my ears!
ReplyDeleteI bet Vienna is a nice and lovely place to appreciate music!
Quite unique. I trust the city is filled with lots of artistic works. :)
ReplyDeleteI love Vivaldi.
ReplyDeleteI think your title captures the statues perfectly.
This is fabulous! I love coming up public art as I walk. Nice capture!
