PhotoHunt - Miniature

On a trip to Cameron Highlands last year, I noticed a variety of beautiful potted miniature cacti and succulents at Cactus point. It has the best collection of miniature cactus as well as other exotic plant species here. I couldn't help but be captivated by their structures and beauty, there are so many to choose from. I bought a few pots of miniature cactus but to my disappointment, they didn't bloom well as they couldn't survive in such humid tropical environments.

  19. I used to keep many of these bright coloured cacti. They are very long lasting and we can use them as decorative pieces, together with coloured stones.

  29. Your second picture shows what look like sempervivums -- what are sometimes called 'chicken and hens' over here. We have several varieties growing in our yard and really like them.

All the miniature cacti you pictured look wonderful.
