A wide variety of beautifully designed masks on display at shops and stalls in Venice. Not my kind of thing but they are perfect for carnival and masquerade parties.
Beloved friend of mine To be honest, the carnival and masks,i never liked. But these Venetian masks i admired! Your photos are wonterful with very nice colors !!! Greetings and kisses
I traveled to Venice last year and remember seeing these wonderful masks. I am baffled as to why I did not take a picture of a single one. They are so intriguing and make such interesting photographs. Seeing them in your post brings back fond memories of my visit there.
These are really gorgeous masks! Your photos are excellent. When I went to Venice several years ago, I bought a small mask just like one of them in your photo.
The gold mask on the middle photo looks like it will be perfect for that mask party I am planning... :) Love the red and blue too. Oh they're all very interesting.
The masks look stunningly beautiful. Hopefully one of those days I will finally make it to one of those fancy balls and get the chance to wear a mask, now that would be fun...
Those are exquisite! I just love the detail. I used to collect something similar as a teenager - clown masks and faces. Not happy clowns, but the harlequins and pierots.
Those sure are fancy masks! Did you get one?

Great masks! I'm not much of a mask man myself, but I enjoy seeing them during carnival times.
