Fantastic photos of absolutely stunning mosaics i especially like the detail that would have taken a lot of work to complete :-).
I noticed the old European arts had mosaic pictures whereas the ancient Chinese used broken bowls and plates to make 3-D pictures too.

Beautiful mosaics with a lot of meaning behind them, but alas I think most of those who are based in Vatican City don't live in the real world...
