Turkey is well-known for its lovely and fine quality carpets and rugs. They are greatly regarded as the long tradition of most households for people in Turkey.
This scene definitely looks familiar. The carpet specialist shop in Turkey isn't? I visited it when I made a trip to Turkey in 2007. The carpets were amazing and very expensive too.
lina, obviously, it will burn a hole in my pocket. i'd never spend my money on such expensive items.
most of the mosques are covered from wall to wall with several layers of carpets. the fabrics can be primarily hung on walls or used on tables whichever you want.
But they are expensive. I cannot bear to step on thousands and thousands of dollars worth of such art pieces. :P
ReplyDeletei agree. They look expensive. I cant imagine my new dog pooing it it!

If I ever have the money to buy of of those lovely carpets, I'd put it up on the wall instead of stepping and sitting on them.
