Happy Monday Blues

It's an undeniable fact that most people look forward to Fridays because it's the last day of the work-week. It's always been wonderful to relax and unwind after a long and tedious week. Even though there are plenty of things to do and get done during weekends, they are simply much more relaxed than a weekday. I just feel there are not enough days in a weekend for me. :(

As much as I don’t want the weekend to end, I dread going to work today and leaving the comfort of my warm, cozy bed again this morning, hence the term Monday Blues. It is pretty tough to wake up to the regular busy routine of Mondays after spending a relaxing and splendid weekend.

No matter how much I dread Mondays, I'm going to combat this blue away and start my day with enthusiasm. For some reason, I simply loved these pictures and they have some blue skies and some smokey mountains.

Only five more days until the weekend!

Happy Monday Blues

  5. Mei Teng,
At times I wish I had more than 24 hours in a day. Say 48 hours? I can spend the same number of hours working, say 8 hours, and beauty sleep like anor 8 hours, and I'd still have the rest of the hours to do my own stuff.:)

  6. ECL,
you're so right. the photos were taken in Huangshan (Yellow Mountains). The walk up was seriously tough. It's been in lots of movies like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Unfortunately, much of the sights along the way were hidden to me because of the thick fog.
