Peacock Garden, Taiwan

DSC_1631
This wonderful garden has the most beautiful peacocks that I have ever seen. There are many kinds of species and I find all of them amazing in its own way.

There are dozens of peacocks roaming freely in a large enclosure and they make unusual noises when they start squawking.

It was the mating season and the male peacocks would delightfully spread their beautiful feathers  to attract the females.

Mr Peacock was kind enough to allow me to take as many pictures, at close range, as I like

His pretty plumage were eye-popping to say the least.

Here's a back view of him flaunting its tail to impress the opposite

Another shot of him showing off his wonderful feathers.

I think I've been lucky this round to capture a peacock from so many different angles. A co-operative and friendly model.

  1. Peacocks always amazes me and I used to disturb my friend's peacock. I will make some clucking sound and the peacock will respond by flaunting its beautiful tail!

  7. Their plumage is far prettier than their squawk, isn't it?

  13. What an amazing peacock! The doctor's office where I went as a young adult had peacocks all around it (it was out in the country a bit), but I don't every remember one of them looking as gorgeous as this fellow. I do remember them screaming though - what an awful racket!

    So beautiful!
