Our World - Faces of Istanbul

Photographing people is something I've always enjoyed doing when I traveled. While I love shooting landscapes and architectures, I love the fun and challenge of photographing people. Every time I look at these photos, it brings me back in time and reminds me of all the wonderful people I met during that day. I think at least half of the people I encountered are willing to let me take their photo.

I also enjoy the moment when I can capture people without them knowing I'm taking their photos. It's a challenge every time and a great way to capture the expressions or emotions they have in a particular moment.

  2. Great people shots! I'm learning to try capture people more often and shots like this inspire me. I often ask people if I can photograph them if they're in a shop or a stall and they usually say yes.

  14. Not every stranger wants their photos taken. Some can be aggressive if they discover you take their photos.
