This is one of the many bridges crossing the Tiber River in Rome. Glad the weather cooperated nicely giving us a rain-free, beautiful cloudscapes with gentle breezes. These are a few late afternoon views of the Tiber in spring looking towards the Vatican City and Rome.

ReplyDeleteOh my! It looks so peaceful! And yet in the history books people are always being chucked into the Tiber during revolutions, executions etc. Lovely pic & interesting. thanks.

ReplyDeletePicture postcard perfection!!!
ReplyDeleteThe residents are fortunate to have this view on a daily basis. There appears to be a walkway by the river. I wonder if people walk there. It looks like the river would overflow onto it at any time.
ReplyDeleteNice photos, even if I am not used to see Rome on such a weather.
ReplyDeleteThey are so pretty shots of the sky. Visiting from skywatch.

I love the composition in these photos. These are unusual snaps of Rome and I love that you've shown a side that people might not immediately recognise.
ReplyDeleteDown by the river, sea, or the canal are my favourite places to go for a wander and some relaxation.
ReplyDeleteThe Tiber River looks like a scenic place for sure.
Hey LR! :)
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh Rome... when oh when will I get to set foot in this gorgeous city? :):):)
ReplyDeleteIt looks very cold, but I don't mind the cold... sure makes a nice change from our sunny hot weather yes? :)
