Two unknown sculptures, male and female, caught my eye while I was wandering the streets in Shanghai. They look intriguing and both are about two feet tall.
And here's one in Moscow. A pair of lion's head door knockers adorn one of the wooden doors at the State Historical Museum. Happy knocking and happy 11-11-11.

ReplyDeleteNice theme of Two. The Shanghai two feet sculptures are unique something different from the norm. I go tone of those knockers at my door but not the lion's head but some fierce face hopefully to scare those unwelcome guests haha.

ReplyDeleteThe two public art sculptures are truly attention grabbing, as are the door knockers. I think door knockers and the doors themselves are an indication as to how grand the building is inside.
