PhotoHunt - Lock

I came across this cleanly cut cable bicycle lock on the ground. Sadly, bicycles are relatively easy to steal and with a flimsy lock like this, it doesn't require much effort to swipe a locked bike. They’re such an easy target for dedicated crooks, opportunists as well as bored teenagers. :( I prefer a thick, high quality cable lock to protect my bike.

  14. both bicycles and motobikes are easy target. I keep my son's bicycle safely locked in the house. Don't dare to leave them in the corridor. So easy to cart away.

  23. But even with a cable lock isn't it easy to get through with large cutters? As for the lock here... perhaps it was like my daughter's lock that we had to cut off because she forgot the combination. We can hope. Mine is up here.

  24. Such looks should be seriously discouraged by shopkeepers, how sad to lose a bike because of a cheap lock.
