Photo Hunt - Walking

While I was in Hong Kong a few years ago on business, I had the opportunity to visit some cool places. It was a week of lots of shopping, lots of photo snapping, lots of eating and lots of walking. The weather was incredibly hot and humid and I felt like I was walking into a sauna.

For anyone going to Hong Kong, I think the journey to Lantau Island was unmissable. The main attraction of the island was, none other than the Giant Buddha himself. I think all the walking was enough to burn off whatever extra calories I've put on. Despite the hazy weather conditions that day, the view was still fabulous with its challenging walking trails for walkers to enjoy.

Look how peaceful and serenity the Buddha looks.

Happy Photo Hunters and Happy walking folks!

This is a cool Buddha statue. The next beautiful one but with the Goddess of Mercy by the same sculptor is in Penang. :)

I think the only times I ever walk that much, is while traveling. In self-defense against all the eating!:-) Good post!

Hope you’ll stop by mine!

An attraction that's a must to visit. Though the long flight of steps out don't exactly appeal to many :P
