Photo Hunt - Thankful

PhotoHunt theme: Thankful

There are countless things to be thankful for in our lifetime.

Each day is a blessing indeed and I'm so thankful to Goddess of Mercy for her abundant blessings that flow throughout my life.

I am thankful for the golden opportunity to conquer the majestic Great Wall of China with my hubby and it was just so marvelous.

I am thankful and fortunate for the food that we have because I believe not all people can eat three complete meals a day.

I'm thankful I have eyes to see such a beautiful world the Lord has created and the opportunity to see so many different people from all walks of life.

Have a great weekend and Happy Photo Hunting!

  6. Thank you for sharing your great photos - I have always wanted to walk the Great Wall of China. Is it often that crowded or was that a special event? How long is the journey, how difficult. I enjoy following your blog and wish you well.

  8. Loved the pictures!!!

(OK, especially the one with the food, I confess). :-)

My post is here. Have a great weekend!

  9. Marlene Affeld,
Hi! There are 3 sections of the great wall that are open to the public. The most famous stretch of the Wall is at Badaling. Access to the wall is much easier here and safer for tourists to climb to the place.

the easiest route is by taking the 919 bus (green and white) from Deshengmen Long Distance Bus station. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hr 30mins to Badaling.

    happy weekend!
