PhotoHunt - Advertising, Zap

Shanghai, like many big cities, comes alive with a riot of multi-coloured lights when night falls. Here are a few night scenes captured at Nanjing Road.

Picture 073
The entire road is filled with LED advertising signs, billboards and huge TV screens.

Picture 077
It brings colorful life to the storefronts of Shanghai's busiest shopping district.

Picture 079
I spent a lot of time wandering around the streets starting from East Nanjing pedestrian street, heading down the Bund and ending at People's Park and that absolutely zaps my strength and energy.

  6. I find it interesting that so much of the advertising text is in Chinese but the big photo is of a distinctly non-Chinese looking model...

  20. Nice capture of the nightlife. I, too, was here during the day and did not see all those neon signs lit up. I enjoyed my time in Shanghai and wished I could have stayed longer.
