i don't know the story behind it. i try to google but couldn't find any info on the doors. they are indeed intricately designed with details that one has to stop to think about how they were being creatively carved.
The decorations are great. The details are fantastic, and the doors look so rich. It would be interesting to know the story behind them, but I see that you have already tried. Happy WW!

I love these doors! there are some awesome doors in old Spanish homes too. I'm going to look out my shots of those.
