The remaining facade of St Paul's cathedral after the cathedral was detroyed by a disastrous fire during a typhoon in 1835. For centuries, it has been the icon of Macau and is the number one destination of Macau sightseeing. The façade is covered in intricate carvings and sculptures depicting the early days of the Catholic Church in Asia. It is officially enlisted as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005.
Yeah! The carving are really great! Too bad it was partly destroyed huh. If not we would have more to admire. But at least we still get to behold the ruins. :p

I went to this cathedral many many years ago. Good to hear it's designated as a World Heritage site.

I went there early in the morning, so it was not as crowded as you have seen.
Macau is a nice place for photography.

Such a beautiful ruin, it's amazing that it has lasted all this time after the rest of the building was destroyed.
