PhotoHunt - Upside-Down

This week's PhotoHunt theme involves upside-down.

The shots were taken from a moving coach on the way from Germany to Switzerland. As the coach was constantly moving, most of the pictures captured were apparently blurry and out of focus. However, these images are some of my best shots and I think this seems like an appropriate choice to share for this week's photohunt.

As can be seen in the pictures, the water is perfectly still and the upside- down visions look almost as the real thing. I could actually rotate this picture upside- down and no one would even noticed the difference. The smoothness of the crystal clear water really helped to accentuate the actual view!

The last two shots show the upside- down reflections of blue sky and snow-capped mountains. The upside -down subjects are clearly visible too and combined perfectly with the actual scenery.

  15. So beautiful -- but how frustrating it must be to just pass by these places quickly on a bus rather than being able to linger at these beauty spots!

  23. Very beautiful photos! I love mountains reflected in water, so often the lakes are not still enough to get such a perfect reflection. Even the clouds are clear. So glad I stopped by.

Hey are you still uploading your photos via Blogspot and Picassa?

Did you read their new terms closely? I started just to check yes I accept then I decided to read.

If you agree to the terms, anything you upload via Picassa, under Google's new terms, gives them the right to use any image of yours in any manner they choose, including commercial and altering.

So, I went back to Photobucket. I didn't really want to because it takes longer to load.

But, I'm not giving away my copyright to anyone. Even if it is Google!!

Just thought I would mention it in case you did not read it.

I hope you are having a wonderful holiday!!
    Hugs,
    Jackie:-)

  38. Hi Jackie,

thanks for the mention. I'm terrible at reading such documents. if it's true, I might consider using Flickr to post to my blog. i've been uploading my pics via blogspot all this while.

for some reasons, I’ve always found it a bit tedious to upload images to Photobucket. the methods are quite inefficient especially if you have lotsa photos. it takes forever to load pics in some blogs.
