Wordless Wednesday - Butterfly
Are butterflies considered good luck?
It seems of late that whenever I'm outside, I come across butterflies in our back yard. I think they are fascinating to admire and love seeing them around. It certainly uplift my spirit when I see them fluttering around in the flowers. I was quick enough with my camera and manage to snap the wonderful creature perching in between leaves. Butterflies and moths are such delicate and remarkable creatures that reminds me of the fragile moments of this world.

ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the butterflies.
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful. Thanks for the lovely shot.
ReplyDeleteI especially love the first photo of the butterfly on the purple head of clover. The color contrast between the butterfly itself and the flower is very visually impressive.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if butterflies are considered to be good luck. I do know that without them many plants would die out as they transfer pollen from plant to plant thereby ensuring they fruit and multiply. They are certainly one of nature's more graceful and beautiful creatures. Even the caterpillars that turn into butterflies are interesting and beautiful in their own way.
Lovely series!
ReplyDeletehappy wednesday!

ReplyDeletethanks everyone for your wonderful comments.
ReplyDeleteEcl,
ReplyDeleteunfortunately, i don't have a good scone recipe. i failed miserably when it comes to baking. hehe
I have sunk my teeth into lip smacking scones in Europe, just not in Malaysia. i love the blackberry ones especially. but i think there are great tasting scones in Cameron H as i've heard positive reviews about them. :)

ReplyDeleteI considered butterflies to be holy. Haha :D Still remembered my previous post about Moth? Hence I do believe that butterflies are mythical beings. :D
ReplyDeleteMy late mother and grandma has always told me this. When I saw a butterfly or moth, this means our love ones are back to visit us. :D
