Twilight has always been one of my favourite times of day. I took these photos along the canals of
Venice right after sunset. The sky slowly changes on a vivid shade of blue and everything looks so beautiful during the blue hour. Purely magical.

One advice I got from a photographer friend is to shoot 30 minutes after sunset. The most dramatic can be seen during this time. Your photos are huge validation. I love it. :)

Is this sunset? I thought twilight is before sunrise, but because there are lots of people then must have been twilight of sunset or dusk! These moments, dawn and dusk, are really what photographers wait for!

these were captured after sunset. Twilight is the time before sunrise and it's also the time after sunset, as defined by wikipedia. you're right, the times around dawns and dusks are so rewarding to photograph. Usually after the magical twilight time, I will continue on and do some nighttime photography.
